The Thornbury Yacht Club is a small, not-too-formal association of sail and power boat enthusiasts who keep their boats in Thornbury Harbour, at the southern end of Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. The club was founded in 1983. We have a fleet of about 115 boats, both Sail and Power (about 85% Sail). The object of the club is to promote safe boating, good seamanship, and good sportsmanship among all boaters and those with a genuine interest in boating, especially in the Thornbury - Georgian Bay area. For more information about the Thornbury Yacht Club, please go to 'About Us'.
