TYC race program. Thornbury Yacht Club Racing Program – 2011 Season
There is no better way to learn to sail your boat to its maximum potential than participating in the TYC racing program. The program is designed to encourage all members to race their boats in a relatively informal and safe environment. Racing is governed by a set of international rules and local Sailing Instructions designed to provide safety, fair sailing and race management appropriate for the TYC fleet. All boats race with their own “time on time “ handicap established under the PHRF-LO ( Performance Handicap Racing Fleet – Lake Ontario) handicap system.
